Google is one of the most powerful and highly used search engine .Everyone who surf the Internet used it in some or the other way .Normally when we want to search something using google, we simply put the string in google search bar and press enter.Then on the basis of our string google return us the result.
                                                But you can do a lot more than this if you know the right syntax of commands that google engine can process.Here I am going to tell you some such commands with explanation.

1.Search Only within Certain site:

If you want to restrict your search only to a particular website then you just need to put site:sitename.com. Now google serch engine will search within only this particular domain.

For example, if I want to search an facebook article on superpctricks.com,then I need to write as site: superpctricks.com facebook.

                                             Site: sitename.com search query

2.   Search by title of page :

This enable the google search engine to restrict the search result to pages that some word in title of page.For example ,    

                                            intitle:password

will retrieve only those pages  which contain the word password in their title.

3.  Search by url:

The inurl: syntax restrict the search only to pages which have particular word in their url.For example,  

                                           inurl:passwd

will return only those pages which have passwd in their url.

4.  Searching files with particular extension:

This filetype: syntax restricts Google search for files on internet with particular extensions (i.e. doc, pdf, ppt etc). For example: 

                                          filetype:doc site:gov confidential

 will look for files with .doc extension in all government domains with .gov extension and containing the word confidential either in the pages or in the .doc file. i.e. the result will contain the links to all confidential word document files on the government sites.

5. Search pages that link to specified page:

link: syntax will allow you to list down the pages that contain that have links to a specified page.For example the syntax
                                          link:superpctricks.com

will show only those pages that links to superpctricks.com.

6. List pages that are similar to  specified page:

The related: will list web pages that are "similar" to a specified web page. For Example:
                                       related:www.google.com 

will list web pages that are similar to the google homepage. Note :there should be no space between the "related:" and the web page url.

7. Show only cached pages:

The query cache: will show the version of the web page that Google has in its cache. For Example:
                                       cache:www.hackingspirits.com

will show Google cache of the Google homepage. Note there should no space between the "cache:" and the web page url.

8. Search only by text:

The intext: syntax searches for words in a particular website. It ignores links or URLs and page titles.For example: 
                                       intext:exploits  

will return only links to those web pages that has the search keyword "exploits" in its webpage.

9. Searching phonebook:

phonebook: searches for U.S. street address and phone number information. For Example:

                                        phonebook:Lisa+CA 

will list down all names of person having Lisa  in their names and located in California (CA). This can be used as a great tool for hackers in case someone want to do dig personal information for social engineering.

I’m sure there are times when you wish the computer wasn’t keeping a track of
your browsing history. Buying someone’s birthday present perhaps, or logging
on to an Internet banking site. Whatever the case, in these situations you would usually have to go into your browsing history and delete any reference to the pages.

Thankfully, Google Chrome saves all that hassle with its Incognito mode. You can create a new Incognito window by clicking on the wrench icon and then “New Incognito Window”, or by using the corresponding keyboard shortcut (see below). This will open a new window which will either be blue or a darker shade of the window color (depending on your operating system and/ or Chrome theme) and will have a shady-looking spy icon in the top right hand corner of the window.

So what does Incognito mode do? Essentially, Incognito mode lets you browse the Internet just like normal. However, unlike in a normal window, activity from the Incognito mode simply isn’t logged - no record is kept on your computer whatsoever. That goes for history, searches and downloads; of course, if you download something you’ll keep the file,
but there’ll be no record of you downloading it in Google Chrome.As a security measure, going Incognito doesn’t access your saved passwords or logins.
